Bird Brained

The past few days, when I wasn't working on my new HAED start, I was pulling threads and looking for charts. Somehow, I signed up for 2 exchanges that are both due at the end of January. So while I await my partners info I thought that I'd get a little bit of a head start.

Since there isn't enough to show on my new start HAED, I thought I'd share this lovely tin that I made for my best friend's daughter. I lined it with an extra layer of batting so that it could work as a pin cushion. I filled it with a package of needles, some colored pins, and a pair of purple scissors. She is just beginning to learn how to stitch. Last year I sent a tin to her Mom, and she requested that I make another one for her daughter.
